The next couple of pages are a break down of a small amount of the work that I have done. Most pieces are done on either canvas or wood for the extra large pieces. The dragonfly's and butterfly's are all on thin wood and make a great addition to any room. I prefer to do them in odd numbers because it looks so much better when they are hung. We currently have them all over our house. There are times that I feel a bit bad for my other half and our kids, my art work is taking over the house. Problem is I love it, I love the mix and the brightness that it brings to our home. Its even better when mixed with family projects and my beautiful munchkins masterpiece's.
I am a small town girl living in a big city. I have created "art" my entire life. Between sketching, painting, molding and sculpting I always seem to have some project on the go. I tend to lean towards more abstract style art when painting and fairly traditional every where else. Painting is my true passion.
I have never been one for standard and typical. My mind just doesn't work that way. I see the world through very different eyes compared to most people. Finding beauty in things that some seem to find forgotten. I paint what I love. My take on art is very unusual compared to some people's. There are no limits or boundaries, no lines to color within.
I love to give new life to old pieces, whether its painting old furniture and giving it "new life" or using old closet doors to have as hung paintings. "Green" art is Great Art!
